The fundamental syntax of the grandMA2 has been preserved and extended to facilitate the new functionality.
The grandMA3 software has an elegant new system-architecture incorporating new fixture, feature and effects-handling at its very heart. These ground-breaking concepts from top industry visionaries, are presented within a refined user interface, and are designed to make practical tasks more intuitive. Selecting fixtures, adjusting values, storing presets and playing back cues should all feel familiar, but improved in many details of the process.
Better overview, faster access and more accurate information will create an improved user experience in programming and busking a show.
Fixture information is now generic and allows simpler sharing of programmed data between fixtures. We also support the new GDTF (General Device Type Format) natively, allowing fixture manufactures to ensure their own fixtures are controlled as intended.

The grandMA3 onPC 4Port Node 4k PoE is the all-purpose tool within the Nodes from MA Lighting. It is ideal to distribute DMX lines from different places in your venue, from a rack or in the truss. You can also use it for a direct fixture control from your grandMA3 onPC station or as additional DMX outputs in combination with the grandMA3 onPC control devices.

The grandMA3 onPC 4Port Node 4k PoE is the all-purpose tool within the Nodes from MA Lighting. It is ideal to distribute DMX lines from different places in your venue, from a rack or in the truss. You can also use it for a direct fixture control from your grandMA3 onPC station or as additional DMX outputs in combination with the grandMA3 onPC control devices.
The grandMA3 onPC 4Port Node 4k PoE comes in a 9.5” 1RU housing and is designed to synchronously output four DMX universes in any grandMA3 system. To ensure optimal performance, the Node is equipped with a high-performance processor and a 1 Gb/s Ethernet connection, guaranteeing reliable and stable Ethernet to DMX (and vice versa) conversion. It can be fully powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet) to reduce additional cabling. A wide range of accessories allows for alternative fixing methods and customization if required.
All grandMA3 onPC Nodes enable 4,096 parameters for the grandMA3 onPC software directly. To initiate a compact and cost-effective control system, simply download the grandMA3 onPC software, connect the Node, and you're ready to control your fixtures. As the grandMA3 onPC software offers the same features as the larger consoles of MA Lighting, there will be no compromises on features for your show.
Some more facts to know? All grandMA3 Nodes are remotely configurable from any grandMA3 console or onPC station within the network session. They are capable of handling MA-Net3, MA-Net2, sACN and Art-Net data. They are fully RDM compliant. A 3.9" color display on the front face allows for simple configuration and a quick status overview.
grandMA2 Compatibility
The grandMA3 control consoles are compatible with shows created on grandMA2 consoles. Where features allow, existing shows can be exported from grandMA2 software 3.4 and later, for use in all grandMA3 console models.
All grandMA3 console models (except the grandMA3 onPC command wing) incorporate a fully featured Mode2, which runs native grandMA2 software.
